We attempted some rice cereal the other day. Neither of us liked it, but we tried it. Mom's going to wait a little bit before she forces us to eat it again!!

We're 5 months old!

5 months old, already????

That's right...time is flying by. We've matured another month!

We're slowly hitting those milestones that everybody talks about. We've mastered the art of smiling- although sometimes we're moody and decide not to. We are good morning nappers and are still working on our afternoon naps. We started to coo and cah and are figuring out how our mouths & tongues work. We're grabbing on to things like Mom's hair and Dad's tshirts. We've got the nighttime sleep habits forming and usually only wake Mom and Dad up once a night around 2AM. Otherwise, we enjoy eating, crying and pooping! Being 5 months old ROCKS!!
WE LOVE YOU!

A mother's day to remember!

A day to remember! We woke mom up with breakfast in bed (shhh...don't tell her we bought it from McDonalds instead of cooking it) then we surprised her with a relaxing gift. She was surprised and very thankful! Daddy also helped us put together these shirts to tell Mom how much we love her!

Here we are moving & shaking on mother's day!

Kian is finally smiling...his whole face lights up!

Daddy with his boys!

Just as fast as he "did it" Ethan didn't do it. The next night Ethan was up what seemed like every 2 hours! However, we are establishing a sleeping routine and still take some good naps during the day (sometimes). Kian has actually slept through the night one time. We're just thankful for some extended hours of sleep we've all been getting. We're all less cranky!

He did it!

HE DID IT!!!
He's one step closer to being a big boy at only 7weeks (adjusted age from his due date)! Yes, Mr. Ethan slept through the night last night. We started our regular night time routine at 7:30pm and he was in bed by 8:00. Much to our surprise we didn't hear him until 6:30 this morning- besides a little squawking around 4:30am. We had to check on him multiple times to make sure he was okay. We've been working on sleep training since 6weeks (adjusted age) and saw results already. Kian is only getting up once around 1:30AM- which is where Ethan was a few days ago. We don't expect Kian to sleep as well for another couple weeks. Mom and Dad aren't idiot's though...we know this won't be an every night event, just surprised them last night! Both Kian & Ethan are taking 2-3 solid naps/day allowing Mom to get some work done on Tuesdays and Thursdays when she's home from work.

Both boys received their 4 month shots (yes- a little late) and did very well. Mom dosed them with Tylenol for 24 hours and we didn't have any complainers at all. Tough boys!

Here's Kian and Daddy snuggling on the couch last night working on his "push-ups"!

Mommy & Ethan snuggling watching American Idol!

Happy boy, Kian, hanging out on his blankey on the floor.

We're getting better at holding our heads up. Please excuse the pink and purple bumbos- we got them from cousins Maris and Tiffany.

Another rewarding week! We are blessed!

Rare images of Kian smiling. We're still working on our social smile. We're a bit behind brother, but we'll get it! Does he possibly have the Leuer 1/2 smile??
Dad and his boys hanging out on the couch!

I am a Momma's boy...if Mom's around and not in sight or holding me...I'm crying. My shirt couldn't be more accurate!

Kian- just happy to be hanging out!

We're slowly getting a routine down. We're sleeping 4-5 hours at a time at night. Mom has us on a nap schedule when she's home and we rarely even cry when she puts us in our crib. We know its nap time (and Mom's time to get things done around the house) when she lays us down. If we're not tired, we just talk to each other until we fall asleep. It's so nice to share a room with my brother!
Happy May Day!
